GARDNER INDUSTRIES formerly referred to as Gardner Carpets, was founded in July, 1974 by Seymour Gardner selling commodity broadloom carpet and padding to the trade: flooring retailers and furniture stores in the major New Jersey/New York market area.. At the time, we operated out of a small 10,000 sq ft warehouse in Passaic, NJ, but in 1979, we expanded into a 25,000 sq ft facility in Fairfield, NJ and dramatically expanded our business with quality, value, service and because of customer demand.

In 1985, not only did we expand again into a 40,000 sq ft warehouse in East Hanover, NJ, but we added the first of many major branded lines which helped propel us to become one of the largest full service wholesale flooring distributors in the New Jersey/New York market.

In 2000, we launched our exclusive SPECTRUM COLLECTION programs which further catapulted our business.  Our SPECTRUM COLLECTION  consists of products and programs exclusively designed by us and for us in the USA and overseas providing the latest styles and colors but especially the best value available!!

Today, we offer many programs in our exclusive SPECTRUM COLLECTION in addition to many other branded product lines from major manufactures —selling wholesale to the trade only.
